The hotels are so big in Lara. Mammoth. Not tall so much, but large and impressive. Much like the Bellagio or Caesar's Palace. They all sit side by side along the waterfront and they remind me a lot of Vegas. Driving down the street in Lara Beach feels not dissimilar to the strip in Vegas. If you squint your eyes. Lara is not quite up to scratch yet, it's still got undeveloped pavements and lots of spare ground that has weeds on it.
