We arrived at the airport about 2pm and checked in hassle-free. 8kg between us to spare and 10kg extra hand luggage so plenty of souvenirs on the way back. Goodie! Maybe mum can get her coveted fake real Chanel bag after all. Jason and I are excellent time wasters so we managed to spend the best part of 3 hours eating, reading and supping cappuccino - supoib!
The flight took off on schedule (wonderful) and was busy but not full so there was an empty seat beside me, handy for drinks. 4 hour flights are just about the correct amount of flying time. The first hour is settling in and having a drink; the second is eating; the third, reading and in the fourth hour when you're starting to get restless, you start to notice that the plane is decending and it starts to get exciting!
After we collected our luggage, it was pretty easy getting the visa, and going out to the concourse to meet the rep to be told our designated coach. We were in our hotel room by 1am local time (11pm to me and you). The journey was spot on. One or two hiccups but I'll write them up separately.
