We went AI in Tunisia two years ago for roughly the same amount of money as we paid for this holiday. By jove, what a difference there is. The Baia Lara is a beautiful hotel, visually stunning and very spacious. The furniture is just wonderful, I want to sneak a couple of their chairs in my luggage. Our hotel room is such that it rivals a Turnberry room or any other 5 star establishment in Scotland. It has an enormous bed. So comfortable. A great big flat screen telly and a splattering of English speakling channels. A mini-bar fridge that it topped up daily with beer, soft drinks and water. Lovely. The food is typical for the buffet style dining, lots of choice. There are enough sunbeds and places to sit that you can really get away from everyone. It's a really stunning place.
