A day out in Antalya - Part II

From Starbucks, it was a short walk up to Hadrian's Gate. Yes, the same dude who gave us our wall. It's a stunning structure and wonderful that it's still in existence. Loads of things the Romans built still stand and function in Antalya.

The old quarter is very beautiful and quaint. There are houses, shops and restaurants down wee narrow cobbled and mosaic streets. It will be easy to get our souvenirs here because they are EVERYWHERE.

We meandered, always going downwards so that we ended up along the harbour front. Very pleasant. We stopped for a beer and a seat then wandered up back to the bus stop to get the bus back to the hotel. But not before we parted money for a couple of cats (see later post).
